RMA's Red Limit
Should the number of "dead" devices surpass what we call the "Red Limit"—the maximum allowable file loss threshold—the system will:
Force Recall: Automatically call all SFs from the devices to recover the OF.
Re-split and Redistribute: Once recovered, the OF is split again into the same number of SFs as originally planned. These SFs are then reallocated to devices marked with a live status.
Redistribution of SFs: SFs from "dead" devices are returned to the dashboard for re-download by other users.
This automatic process ensures that when the Red Limit is reached, the OF is reconstructed as initially and redistributed. The lost SFs are reintegrated into the system, maintaining a data loss rate of virtually 0.00001%.
